just because we have common outdated semantics, (another example would be that people are saying the sun is rising - when in reality it isnt its the earth moving around the sun.....) because people dont stop to think from first principles, doesnt mean that people are actually praising the method - MOST people when they are watching a movie or listening to a song judge it based on the actual song - they dont start researching how many hours and money and effort it took to create it, they either love it or they dont. either the melody catching their ear or it isnt. same with movies and same with almost anything. sure artist DO check those and are interested in those. just like tech nerds DO check the specs of a pc or anything else BESIDES only using the output of the thing like MOST users do. I do agree that AI users arent artists or coders (and i use ai to code a lot and i know programmers with 20+ years of experience who use ai heavily and daily to code as well) but im not a coder or a programmer (although i do have background in python and currently working as an automation specialist - was doing it before ai too) but that doesnt negate the fact that artist exist not only for personal recreation but also to supply a demand - the simple fact is the second part is fullfiled better by AI. and its no surprise to anyone who understands that everythung is a pattern and i was saying since 2018 that it will be possible to make full apps and images and movies and music with AI... 2018... with full confidence.. with apps we are almost totally there, with music and video a bit behind but will be soon enough.. do i want that in Capitalism - good question.. but dont misrepresent the facts.
