Why don't we as humanity aim for a Star Trek like future or Zeitgeist (Moving Forward), where all jobs to keep the society alive are done by AI and Robots and we human beings foster our talents what ever they might be(every human has talents) with that we are motivated to better ourselves and this in return will benefit society as a hole. However if we do live in a simulation and the global elites know about this, then them trying to escape this simulation by creating superintelligence and this would explain all the senseless wars, depressions, famine, not caring about human and animal lives, because they know it's just a simulation a video game. This is why I believe we cannot go out in space, because we are missing the DLC Space addon, all the satellites and the ISS are in Earths orbit not in space. Your guess was amazing btw. made a lot of sense IMO.
