Tesla's Full Self-Driving is now called Full Self-Driving Supervised. This system allows drivers to take their hands off the steering wheel as long as they remain attentive to the road. There's a camera located above the rearview mirror that monitors whether the driver is paying attention. I watched a video on Tesla's website about this technology, and I know someone who owns a Tesla Model 3. He has the Full Self-Driving Supervised feature, which essentially functions like a personal taxi. When you set a destination in the navigation system, the car will drive you there. However, I have concerns about the technology. To me, it doesn't seem ready to completely let drivers take their hands off the wheel without potential risks. The system does allow you to take your hands off the wheel as long as you're focused on the road.
