Look, do you know what pen & paper roleplaying is? That community has always dreamed to have their imagined chars come to life. Commissioned art may get all the details right but it may still not be their char. People like to be able to create their chars and worlds themselves. Not everyone likes to draw and paint.
I think the second person means traditional art.
Also you who have never worked or tried any AI have no right to judge. Lots of problems and really bad things about AI but your voice is like a parrot and has no meaning. If you spend weeks intensly working with AI your opinion will be valid and can be taken serious.
