One of the things students like about AI as a teacher is that the AI has "infinite patience and infinite ways to explain a topic". Now imagine your kids getting used to receive infinite patience and infinite ways of explaining a topic, and comming out of school like that into the real world, a world filled with impatient humans in a hurry, people who are anxious, stressed, desperate, who are not the most skilled explainers, etc; and your kids expecting infinite patience and infinite ways from those very impatient and stressed humans in a hurry. Is going to be spectacularly shocking for those kids, they are going to be so unprepared for that, because they will not be used to make their best effort to grasp as much as they can from as few explanations as they can get in the first few minutes or seconds of interaction. They wil get their bosses angry. And those kids will be even more fragile than the gen z.
Is just like someone who gets used to use the rewind botton in every video and then he finds he misses a lot of info during live conferences in which he obviously can not rewind. To get used to soft easy modes is to get soft and easy to defeat.
