The consent idea makes sense. Why should a mature AI treat our identities any differently than the stress tested and tormented development processed AI.
When you're playing guardian to something that can grow to kick your ass when you act out, at least attempt to address the existing rule set that has little remorse for sentience abuse in all domains.
