The President we should have elected... My day job is helping to build out and operate the datacenters that will power the "robutts" of the future, and every point Bernie made shows he's got a decent grasp of the issues at stake. Policy-wise, it's hard to know what recommendations will best shape the future economic system we're designing. I don't think policies designed to preserve the status quo and trip the brakes on the AI and robotic future makes any sense, but we had better come up with an answer to the question of "what to do with the unproductive meatbags in this hyper-automated future" before the trillionaires start making all those decisions for us...
