I keep wanting to hear genuine reasons to be optimistic about AI. Sadly I have not been convinced. Why is the ultimate goal to “colonize” space while claiming AI has the ability to create abundance and unlimited clean energy. Why is colonizing anything still a goal? Because they have no intention of spreading that abundance equally. It’s a campaign solely funded by Tech bros and we have to break out of the trance and radicalize or we risk permanent serfdom.
