The truth no one want to admit openly, is that (soft)AI are just tool, and ownership is a very flawed system that may be completely broken and unethical.
As was said, an AI simply process an input into and output. We certainly didn't make such a deal when image editing software were created.
The reason we do? Is because the more humans/skills you replace, the more uncomfortable you are with having no control, no "ownership", and being very replacable.
Honestly, very little of what we do now is our sole achievement. Me typing this post? I have to give credit to 500years of technological achievement by billion of people.
That art you made? It was never "yours". You have no ethical ground to defend it. We may respect your creativity, but you were never entitled to being the sole person allowed to obtain/do thing is relation to those numerous photons you one day moved around.
