I don't think AI fakes are an important issue. I don't really care about attractive women appearing in these fakes and I fail to see how it "ruins their life".
Nothing is "ruining their life", it's a fake image, get over it, cry about it. We have real problems in this country. People are losing their homes, jobs are paying below a living wage, healthcare is harder and harder to get. I DO NOT CARE about deepfakes.
P.S. I've never seen a deepfake or a victim of deepfakes.
