People saying ai art isn't art are wrong but what they really mean is "It's not fair and it feels like it invalidates my hard work and threatens my livelyhood" ok... Life isnt fair. Youre not the first to have lost their job to technology. Making illogical arguments and getting upset isn't going to make a bit of difference. The reason they feel the need to argue against it and say its shit is because most artists say they do it because they love it and because they can express themselves. If thats the main reason you make art then it wouldn't matter what ai does or if it is or isnt art but it seems to matter to them a lot and its because they want more then the process and expression. They want recognition and compensation. If your art is meaningful and made with love it will be recognized but historically mostly when youre long dead.
