The main problem with this isn't AI, it's art itself. Art and who owns it is a complicated problem that still hasn't been fully solved. The differences between copying art, parodying art, being inspired by art, and unintentionally creating similar art are incredibly subtle, and it is difficult to create clear, sharp borders between them.
