LLM‘s have already had massive impacts in my industry. They used to hire 15 to 30 people in my department every month and now hiring is frozen until maybe the middle of the year. Other departments need less people too. We’ve had people get selected to promote, and then their promotions disappear because they’re no longer needed. It’s scary.
