What everyone who discusses this serious issue never mentions is that it’s not sustainable. Society as a whole would collapse. If we were to actually arrive at something similar to what is being described, you have to ask yourself: Who is going to be the consumer in a for profit business culture? Who is going to pay taxes to support the country and Economy of society?
Only the people who make the AI because they are the only ones with money. It may take a while for the rich to run out of their excess but, it would eventually happen because they have no incoming assets.
It MAY happen. It won’t last. You can’t have a business if you have no consumer.
