But the real world doesn't function like that now, does it?
That process of translation from idea to form in one way or another into our plane of existence, be it physical form or some electrical currents which are stored as ones and zeros on a computer somewhere is what I think you'll find to be - among many others - a key quality of what makes someone an artist. That process should rightfully be under close scrutiny, especially when it is as obscure as when using AI. Because make no mistake that AI is a tool, but there's a whole world of differences between an artist using AI and an "AI artist".
