There isn't a single legitimate engineer that agrees with anything the last guy said lmfao. In fact, the people with the financial stakes in it are the ones to listen to because... wait for it... they have a fn financial stake in making it happen lmfao.
Even his example of a force multiplier in this instance isn't a true force multiplier. That's one new job created that wipes out dozens plus. You've created a new position, true, but it requires less people to oversee than the amount of jobs lost by AI.
His point that AI can only be as intelligent as humans seems irrelevant to me. They may have human-limited applicable intelligence, but memory and knowledge of all combined. They are infinitely more accurate and precise than any single human ever could be. They are collective intelligence and knowledge of ALL humans and are not handicapped by the broadband of a human brain.
