may not be a popular opinion but it's something that had already been raised and vocal in the art community, namely: This is not an own people think it is. Redrawing it, giving it attention other than criticising or screenshotting is giving the account unnecessary attention in which it thrives. Moreso, doing redraws and "fixes" of AI images not only technically gives more material to work with for AI bros to diminish the AI artifacts, it would also make them think that it validates their reasoning that AI images are art as well and it should co-exist in the same measure as human-made art. Just imagine the person who posts this and their smug little face as they see a whole horde of artists making free fanart, spending hours of real work to pay unearned homage to something that didn't take more than a couple of minutes to generate - at least to me that's a self-inflicted affront to organic art as a whole, unwittingly dealt by the hand of those who stand for it. In short, they won this round, they got the attention they wanted, they got even more reach and popularity, they feel vindicated in their use of generative AI, again, as it is not a first case with that particular account. Please consider this side as well and maybe do a short video on it as I would very much like to hear your opinion on that take that is not only mine - there are plenty of artists who speak out against the trend of fanarting AI images.
