It’s truly insane this is actually happening. There is zero rationalization when it comes to creativity and AI. If your not creative then don’t be creative. You have zero right to speak into a machine and have it write something for you. It’s the absence of purpose. Always at the destination and zero journey. Not to mention intellectual theft.
Having said all that, it’s no surprise Hollywood wants AI to write their stories because their stories aren’t creative in the least. Simply rehashes of previous stories.
The Flash seems like an AI wrote it. The second doctor strange is the same. The new spider verse is a mess. A non-movie. The vast majority of everything out of Hollywood for the past decade has been personality devoid, non-stories that follow cliche story beats like something out of a screen writing 101 book. These movies are based solely on the idea of what people think movies are.
I’m hopeful that a movement for creative movies will rise up. Something’s gotta give cause we’re being feed garage by money men insisting what they have is gold when it’s obviously shit on a stick.
