I think an important factor to consider when thinking about AI art, is that human intent is still at the heart of it. First there is the prompt which indicates the intent of the piece. Then there is the acceptance process where the person decides if this fits what they want. In both areas human decisions are critical to it. I don't agree with that guy's take on Ghibli being inferior, but he knew what he wanted when he decided to transform his piece with AI.
