Me making pictures with AI is not on the same level as someone putting brush to canvas.
But it _is_ art, even if a lower form of it. I am taking my thoughts and turning them into pictures that I can look at and maybe even share. That is an expression of creativity. That is something I can do no other way. I have neither the talent nor the patience to do it the hard, proper way. I tried, I cant.
I fully agree that processing someone else's work into an AI model and using that to make money or even replace them is wrong.
But using AI privately to express my creativity in ways I cannot do otherwise is not wrong.
