This "common" reply is soooo wrong. Our economy is based on interdependance. It's an implicit social contract. If the robots and AI take over, we are simply out of this loop. Our work isnt required, and neither is our consumption. Those who own the robots now have the ability to increase their wealth in a closed loop.
