There is something deeply disgusting with the idea that the solution for people who struggle to find time and resources to improve their writing or obtain publishing opportunities because of systemic discrimination, is not to build a community which will help overcome those problems and advocate for social and political changes, but to give those people AI tools so they don't even need to improve their writing anymore because the AI will "write" for them, and to promote predatory companies who will make them pay for a really shady publishing contract.
