You are wrong. AI WILL take out the working class, the economic system that was built out after division of labor and the social contract will become outdated. Corporate profits will increase as they can work faster, more efficiently and after the initial investment cheaper than employees. The only way forward is to revise the economy and move towards a universal basic income that replaces the entire umbrella of medicare, pensions, unemployment, food stamps the entire package. This is the opportunity to move towards a Utopia where people have more time to raise their children while having the financial means to live comfortably.
