They think but they miss the true dimension of abstraction given by linking language to the let’s call it chemical soup that is our biological vessel. They also have a ‘fantasy’ that is written in full, not based on filled in perception by fantasy and expected patterns. It is a very different type of both thinking and intelligence. I think the only way we can ever compare ai to human intelligence or on a deeper leven consciousness, is when we create a symbiosis that forges a true connection.
But than again I know nothing and thought this up walking the dog so take it with a few bags of salt 😂
