The best explanation of why this will not create new jobs like every other revolution is:
All other revolution were innovations of sectors that allowed us more freedom to create and act on new ideas. Basically innovations lead to faster growth and innovations by other humans.
What AI is doing isn't automating a sector, but automating innovation itself, leaving us nothing left to create, because the AI will beat us to it and not only innovate an idea but also completely automate it.
