Instead of automating things like taxes, or data computation, or making tools to assist the visually impaired, AI tech bros have decided to automate the things people enjoy doing.
Why yes, I would love to automate my leisure time so I can be a more productive wage worker. Now I have more time to do the important things, like endlessly consume products made for the sole purpose of keeping me watching for as many ad breaks as possible. I love being a consumer!
