I don’t think our society will all Ai to completely take over for the reason of it phasing out our jobs.
On one side of it, we do need to work less to be a better society in general.
On another side of it, Ai can’t make ALL the money if people actually don’t have any of it to spend anywhere. It will crash the system completely and mean there’s no way left to sustain that economy. The greedy rich included will suffer! Just look at what all these DEI policies and Covid did to these big box businesses when no one wanted to/couldn’t support them any more because of it! Just after a few days/weeks/months, it took a huge loss/hit because of it all! Many never recovered at all! You can’t make money if no one is making money to spend!
On the other side of all that, we ALREADY HAVE all the resources we need to be able to sustain our economy and world to be able to run it all WITHOUT the use of money if we actually wanted to do so. The problem with that is that we think we actually need money to get by. We don’t. If Ai ran a majority of our jobs for us, there’d be less need for human involvement to run the workforce for us and less need for money anyways. In all of that, less greed and less need to control all the resources anyways.
