I am a dumb country boy with 27 years of safe driving and I can tell you it will never work for totally autonomous driving .1 if a air bag goes down on the trailer 2 who fuels the truck 3 a steer drive blows 4 tire blows out 5 attempted truck jacking 6 pretrip inspection 7 refer goes out I can go on and on every time that computer says call for service it will cost 10 times the amount the truck will ever profit by not having a certified driver there to combat the small stuff and take care of it and keep the freight moving . It will cost the shipper and how long do you think that will last ? Never . remember that never .
