We have passed the point of no return concerning, AI and the establishment has no clue as to what is coming down the line and anybody who professes to know is on an egotistical wave of their own self intelligence. Geoffrey Hinton no doubt has best intentions but he has no idea at all, or he does because he thinks he does. Anyone’s guess is as good as the next! Let’s just hope our spirituality and our innate human intelligence proves to be way more important than anything AI can offer, other than as a time saving tool.
If we stop using our brains they will atrophy. That is pretty scary! Even watched a young person try to add up without the calculator on a till or their phone? Terrifying really!
Humans have heart which gives us compassion, sympathy, empathy. Considering every single human being is driven more by love and passion for family, partners, children, and their pets/animals. That’s where the sword strikes!!! We don’t want our humanity to end, do we?
The human race could end completely!
