Well it's just .. some of the people asking this question are first year college students. Give it 4 years for them to get a degree and... how far along will AI be at that point? Given the rate of growth in previous years... I think new coders have a realistic concern that their career will be obselete. Even if the only thing that were holding AI back is, not enough tokens per prompt... that's something that can be updated. And the question doesn't just address the four years to get a degree, but largely questions if their financial future is safe if they plant their seed in programming. I am not so sure.
