A great example of this is something like over the cotton wall, where the art style is reminiscent of the early century New England, and those types of postcards the characters are personable even when you’re much older. I constantly listen to the soundtrack every fall that says something.
Or take the many classic Charlie Brown special the jazz music in them, the comical timing in the Heartfelt messages behind each and every special AI is not able to bring that type of emotion into it.
We don’t feel worts struggles as a brother or Beatrice’s inner turmoil as a failure because they are 2 demential characters. We feel them because they are complex. even all of the “monsters” in over the wall, have their complexities. I will not going to spoiling anything with over the garden wall, but it is a much watch doing the Thanksgiving season.
