I really hope you are right.
I think it's inevitable that we will be working alongside AI but hopefully it will be as a team and not as a takeover.
It is ultimately up to us (the human race) to question any selfish and uncaring people who are in power.
Governments, big corporations and tech giants will always push for an AI takeover if profits continue to come before people.
The current president of the US has proven that money talks louder than people and accountability is not necessary.
If you have no value for accountability you have no conscience to care for people's differences.
If there are more people in power with the ideology and personality like Trump we will lose against AI and destroy ourselves.
The human race needs to decide what type of world do we want to live in?
What values do we want to encourage (diversity or inclusion)?
The human race can agree to disagree but the ultimate goal is unity. If we learn that maybe AI won't be the main focus in this world.
