You call that "hyper-realistic"? It's just *eerie* because it *tries* (in vain) to be realistic. This is an example of what is called the "uncanny valley" - something too close to a human to be "cute", yet not close enough to appear real, will be rejected instead of liked. Companies should stop trying to mimic humans in robots, it will just make them less popular.
