It can already do this. Use Midjourney with reference images, style layers, and omni-references and it’ll reproduce artwork one-to-one. You can even tune it to generate new pieces that look like perfect siblings of the original. I was experimenting with Green and Gold in Nocturne, and you’d never guess the output was AI, it was indistinguishable from the real thing.
