"It would be possible to write a history of all the inventions introduced by capital since 1830 just to give them weapons against the revolts of the working class" (Karl Marx). AI also opens up the possibility of abolishing work (or at the very least radically reducing the work-day). As long as control over resources is owned/controlled by capital, this project is totally unfeasible; the dull compulsion of economic forces to ensure steadily rising profits for capital, keeps us on the "treadmill of wage-labour".
