people giving too much credit to a half-assed AI is sadly a really common occurrence, the bag of doritos incident could be prevented if the AI first sent a picture of what it thought was a gun to a human first (or at least issue the alert together with a picture so someone can review, a picture is mandatory especially in this case). The casino incident was just crazy, as soon as the dude was identified as not the dude the AI thought he was, and the documents looked legit, he should've already been discharged and then if they thought there was any possibility for fraud then they could've started an investigation on it, not fkin arrest an innocent and taint his criminal record with nonsense
