I was at an art market a couple weeks ago. Another vendor next to me was selling AI art. He'd used a machine to print it on some panels of some kind, so he did at least 10% of some work. It was a very slow market, but I don't think he made more than 1 sale. What was more annoying was the lady who started bonding with him over her AI art, and she was musing on how she hasn't been able to sell anything despite having this ultra wide variety of images. Besides making my booth fee back at an event that was generally a waste of my time, it was satisfying selling one of my acrylic paintings of a beetle for $85. The lady who bought it didn't even blink at the price because she knew it was a good deal for an original.
