What will people do to buy the products that those automated trucks deliver. No job no money. The people will have to boycott any company using automated trucks. Those automated trucks will be useless in the rain.
Rain drops on the sensors will cause malfunctions. Debris like plastic bags can blow onto sensors and cause malfunctions. Somebody will have to travel to the truck to dislodge the debris. Automated trucks will create a new industry for cargo hijackers.
