The thing that Elon Mush said that is scary was not that AI is here. It is that AI is here and is being trained to lie. Soon enough, AI will be declared God-like and infallible. And that moment, if the source code is not open source, the human race as we knew it will end. The idiot talking heads on the news will assure us that our new God hath spoken and X is the Holy Way. We will be unable to resist because the entire system will revolve around the Party always being right. We're been there before; it doesn't work; people die by the millions.
