I have this awkward situation with my newly retired dad who now spends hours every day making AI slop.
He will ask chatGPT to write prompts to make AI gen music, then the music itself to prompt chatGpt to write lyrics he will then put into an AI voice to sing over it and then, after a few rounds of that, he will ask dalE to make an album cover.
Fundamentally, it really doesn't matter; he shares his slop with his 20 tiktok followers and that's that, at least he's not bored.
It's just, I would really like to have something to talk with him about but his entire life is now about making slop on his macbook and I just can't stomach more than 5 minutes of it per week. And telling him to maybe use to time to learn a skill or an instrument wasn't recieved well at all.
I could interest him a little bit in learning to mix beats on the computer, but he systematically then sloppify his own work right after to have what he calls "a finished version" that barely sounds like his original song.
