AI seeks to satisfy ESOFOUND with the least amount of effort needed in most cases.
So if you dont put enough guardrails on the prompts, it gets very lazy.
Meaning, extremely lengthy codes, very niche sets of codes to only fulfill an example you gave and not generate what you actually wanted.
You do absolutely have to know if the code is good or not.
If you arent that good at coding, questions every line it puts in there until you know what each line does is an effective but tedious workaround.
Faster than learning oldschool.
