So I think it needs stating here that ai doesn't have be better than people to replace them, just cheaper. Like how supermarket self checkout is much slower, more inconvenient and makes way more errors than a cashier. Yet we've seen mass adoption anyway because all those errors and inconveniences are still seen as more cost effective if the business can reduce its number of paid staff.
