I was once just messing around with AI CGI or more easily referred to as @milleokws said C.R.A.P. and I queried a dolphin Cerberus for the lols... it actually came out pretty terrifying and so I tried to recreate the image I found online that I use as my Icon but really couldn't get it to generate one I liked....
Although I did get some crazy lovecraftian creatures out of it and that is my point to this comment. It makes some really good monsters! XD most of the time not even on purpose!
Which a real artist can be inspired by.
And in fact as a developer I might use them for reference/placeholders until I or someone else can make better ones.
