It is just a matter of time before AI can generate a full complete application. But I do agree that at this moment, it is more of a super smart assistant that turns an average into a one man programmers army but still at this moment you need at least some basic coding skills. Yesterday I was coding a python script to be used in houdini... Chat GPT kept giving me won't codes... I mean they were correct Python codes but were not working in houdini... I had to go to the houdini documentation webpage.
Same for C++ but it does put me in the right track each time, I just have to do the final step to Chris the finish line
