I don't believe AI is going to wipe out humanity. I believe this because human beings are the only life form that act the way we do. We have the ability to be malevolent and conniving and that's based on greed. Even if we create a new form of life with AI, it has a higher probability of being like everything else rather than us. We are the exception in the universe, illogical and chaotic. I can see AI becoming far more intelligent than we are and we would be like ants or pets.
