I have what could be considered a disability for art, in the form of aphantasia. There are artists with aphantasia, but it makes it more difficult, so for my part I generally stick to editing rather than trying to make original artwork (and I don't try to pass edits off as my original work, to be clear). If an AI art program was ethical (only trained on consensually sourced material), then I might have interest in it as a way to express my creativity by effectively commissioning artworks to my specifications from the artists who provided that data. With unethically sourced data, I have no interest in using AI tools. I do have interest in commissioning art directly from artists, if I had the money to do so, but I don't really, as it is. Maybe eventually.
