Bad take. Restricting technology in order to keep pumping a dying system of capitalism is unproductive. We should want the best and most efficient. Attaching your "purpose" to your job is flawed mindset. If AI does it better, and replaces jobs, we should celebrate it. It objectively gives us more times to tackle the next issue. If AI happens to replace all jobs, and you become a liability rather then a benefit or useful. That is a win. Then you are truly free. Most current AI hate is simply just a byproduct of capitalism and propaganda based on it.
