The really scary thing is to understand that AI will create huge productivity gains and will be deflationary. With a government in so much debt, they cannot allow this to happen and will therefore ramp up the inflation to counteract this, otherwise they will go bankrupt. Those out of work will therefore face rising prices and no job prospects. If however, we move to a hard money standard then that productivity gain will flow to us, but I don't think that the politicians will allow this to happen. The government's answer will be ubi and they will enforce this through digital ID and cbdcs. You can see this starting to come into effect now
