I am ambivalent to ai. but i believe when an ai learns from base art it is the same as me legering somebody and ok. But what you do with it is the important bart if you ask it to make star wars and it gives you star wars thats the humans fault not the tool. But i stil dont like seeing ai generated art or text in profestional uses as i find it hollow like you sad. Its a tool than can be used in both good or bad ways. its also important to understand that time and technology move forward when the camera was invented i think portrait panters lost some of their business but equally more people had pictures of them selves. somebody who does ai art cant take credit for the quality of the "painting" and also cant charge the same as a true painter.
