Howdy!
I'm currently an art student and, of course, there are AI generators in the software we use. So I won't lie, I've used it in some projects.
Specifically when it comes to making textures or simple shapes (for example a rock texture that wasn't even the main focus of the project. We had to do make a costume based on a historical painting and I used the AI to make a rock texture for the shapes. It wasn't necessary, I only did it to make it look a bit more similar to the painting ).
What I'm really aiming to ask is: Is it wrong to use AI for details we struggle to create as long as we note what has been made with AI? (For example, in my historical painting costume project, I explained how I used AI to make the rock textures so the scene could be somewhat similar to the painting's)
Sorry if that doesn't make sense; I just finished some assignments so my brain's a tad scrambled.
